We are educating renters about their rights.

Housing security is fundamental to the success of individuals, families, and communities. Numerous studies document the impact poor housing has on health, education, and employment.

Prior to the pandemic, Memphis was already in the midst of a housing crisis.  Covid-19 has shone a bright spotlight on our housing problems.

Renters’ voices are an essential voice in any conversation about Memphis’ housing problems. The Housing Project gives renters a voice in the conversation/a place at the table.
